Where healing feels like talking to a friend

A calmer mind is on its way. XERA is an AI companion for mental wellness, powered by cognitive behavioural therapy — private, patient, and awake whenever you are.

Private beta in 2026 · English, Thai and Arabic

Why we built it

The gap between a hard night and a Tuesday appointment

Most difficult moments do not happen during clinic hours. They happen at midnight, in a car park, after a message you cannot stop rereading. By the time a session comes round, the feeling has either faded or hardened into a story you now believe.

Professional care is irreplaceable, and waiting lists are real. What has been missing is something in between: a structured, evidence-based way to work through a thought while it is still warm — without performing for anyone, and without paying by the hour to be heard.

XERA is built for that gap. Not to replace a therapist, but to keep the work going between sessions, or to be the first steady place someone lands before they ever book one.

How it works

One conversation, four quiet moves

XERA follows the shape of a cognitive behavioural therapy conversation rather than improvising sympathy.

01

Notice

You say what happened, in whatever order it comes out. XERA reflects it back and helps you separate the event from the interpretation you have wrapped around it.

02

Name

Together you identify the thought pattern at work — catastrophising, mind reading, all-or-nothing thinking — using plain language, never jargon thrown at you.

03

Test

XERA asks for evidence on both sides, the way a good therapist would. Not positive thinking; accurate thinking. Sometimes the worry survives the test, and that matters too.

04

Carry forward

You leave with one small, specific action or reframe, saved so the next conversation continues instead of starting over.

Who it is for

Built for three kinds of people

Between sessions

You already see someone and want somewhere to do the work in the six days in between, so you arrive with material instead of a blank.

Not ready to book

You are not in crisis and not sure you need therapy, but something has been sitting on your chest for months and you want to look at it properly.

Teams that care

Employers and clinics offering XERA as a supported first step, with aggregate, non-identifying reporting and clear escalation routes.

Inside XERA

What you get

CBT-guided conversation

Structured techniques — thought records, cognitive restructuring, behavioural activation — delivered as conversation rather than homework.

Thought and mood journal

Every session becomes a searchable entry with mood tracking, so patterns you would never notice week to week become visible.

Personalised exercises

Breathing, grounding, sleep wind-down and worry-time exercises suggested from what you actually bring, not a generic daily push.

Private by design

Encrypted end to end, minimal data collection, no advertising, and no sale of personal information. You can export or delete everything.

Human handover

Risk language is detected and answered with immediate, local emergency and support resources — never with an attempt to manage it alone.

Three languages, one voice

English, Thai and Arabic, each written by native speakers with clinical review. Tone is adapted, not translated word for word.

Safety

What XERA is, and what it is not

XERA is

  • A wellness and self-help companion using CBT techniques
  • A private space to think between professional sessions
  • Available at any hour, in three languages
  • Clear about its own limits, every single time

XERA is not

  • A medical device, diagnosis or treatment
  • A licensed therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist
  • An emergency or crisis service
  • A place your data is sold or used to advertise to you

If you are in immediate danger

Please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country right away. In the UAE, the Ministry of Health and Prevention mental health support line is 800 4673 (800 HOPE). XERA will always surface local emergency resources when it detects risk, but it is not a substitute for them.

Early access

Be there when XERA opens

We are onboarding the private beta in small groups so we can read every piece of feedback properly. Leave an email and tell us which language you would use.

Questions

About the app

Is XERA free?
The private beta is free for participants. At public launch we plan a free tier with core CBT conversation and journaling, and a paid tier for longer memory, guided programmes and clinician sharing. Pricing will be published before anyone is asked to pay.
Does a human read my conversations?
No. Conversations are private to your account by default. Anonymised, aggregated signals may be used to improve safety detection, and a small number of conversations may be reviewed for quality only if you explicitly opt in. You can export or permanently delete your history at any time.
What happens if I mention self-harm?
XERA responds with care and immediately surfaces local emergency and crisis resources for your region, and it will keep doing so rather than trying to talk you through it as if it were a clinician. It is designed to make the handover to human help as fast and unembarrassing as possible.
Which platforms will XERA be on?
iOS and Android at launch, with a web version for desktop use. The beta begins on iOS and web.
Can my employer see what I write?
Never. In organisational deployments, employers receive only aggregate, non-identifying usage and wellbeing indicators — never individual conversations, entries or risk events tied to a person.
Is the CBT content clinically reviewed?
Yes. Our content model is built on established CBT protocols and reviewed by qualified practitioners before release, and every substantive model change is re-tested against a structured clinical rubric.
